SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility

Nationality: A resident Indian or non-resident Indian (NRI) with a PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India is eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.

Note: NRIs and holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply exclusively in the International student category.

Age: Must be at least 16 years and 6 months old on July 31st of the calendar year in which the 12th Board test will be held.

Qualifying Eligibility for All B.Tech. Courses:

A minimum of 60% in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology/Biology, Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices, or Engineering Graphics. Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
