Chemistry: This paper had a moderate level of difficulty. Inorganic chemistry accounted for 32% of the questions, followed by organic chemistry (36%), physical chemistry (28%), and mixed chemistry (4%). Virtually the entire course was covered.

Math: The paper was long and modest. Calculus accounted for 40% of the questions, algebra for 32%, coordinates for 12%, statistics and relationships for 4%, and 3D vectors for 12%. Trigonometry was not the subject of any questions.

Evening Shift:

Physics: The paper was moderate and lengthy. Covered questions from almost all the topics mentioned in the morning shift.

Chemistry: The paper was easy as compared to the morning shift. Here, 26% questions were asked from Inorganic Chemistry, 39% from Organic Chemistry and 35% from Physical Chemistry.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 (23 January) Paper Analysis (Subject Wise)

Morning Shift:

Chemistry: Inorganic chemistry was covered in six questions, organic chemistry in eight, and physical chemistry in nine. Two inquiries concerning a combination of physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry were made.

Physics: Modern Physics, Unit and Dimensions, Geometry, and Optics each had three questions. Physics: It was easier than the morning shift, although the paper was mediocre. The proportion of inquiries did not change from the morning.
